Augusto Mayorga has always been super into music, listening to all kinds of genres. He’s always had these cool ideas for chords and melodies, plus he’s got a knack for storytelling and writing lyrics. Now that he’s living in the Netherlands, Augusto is diving deep into music recording and trying his hand at composing and collaborating with other musicians for his project. I’m lending a hand with his journey to drop his first EP, which will have about four tracks.

Fulfilling a long-standing desire, the project involves uniting the original members of my Nicaraguan band “CRISIS” (from my youth) to recreate its songs with enhanced audio quality. The objective is to capture the essence of the original compositions while adding the collective experience of each member for a more mature and evolved sound. The inaugural track of this EP is “Ten Calma.”

Following CRISIS, Josué Monroy established Monroy y Surmenage, quickly rising to become one of Centroamerica’s most renowned and acclaimed bands. Meanwhile, Joel Martinez formed multiple metal bands, solidifying his presence as a prominent figure in the Nicaraguan metal scene.

Doing full production and recordings for Joel Martinez and teaming up on realistic drum programming for the different music styles he’s working on. Also, handling the mixing and mastering.
